He further explains the concept of QUICK (QUality Improvement of aCute ischaemic stroKe patient management), a collaborative initiative with Boehringer Ingelheim, which he started in his stroke unit. Aim of this initiative is to reduce the in-hospital delays in stroke patient management procedures, improve patient outcomes and reduce mortality from stroke.
